concern actors with roles in both civil and criminal law cases. Police and Prosecutors—or
Kejaksaan in Indonesian—are only active in criminal cases. But civil
cases involving fraud or falsification of documents often involve both civil and
criminal elements. Acquiring and using false documents—often with the connivance
of government officials—is criminal. In theory, anyway.
